Gordon Laxer is the Director and a cofounder of the Parkland Institute at the University of Alberta. He addressed SACPA in 2007 on the need for a national energy policy.
SACPA meets every Thursday at noon from September to June at Country Kitchen Catering, the lower level of The Keg, 1715 Mayor Magrath Drive, Lethbridge. The Council also holds special sessions, usually in the evening and often at Lethbridge Public Library.
