Making a lasting impact in our community

Consider a gift to SACPA while you are among us, or a gift in your Will .A helping hand to keep this public discourse going for another 50 year.

2018 is SACPA’s 50th year and we are hoping to maintain, and even increase the democratic value of our forum by keeping the public well-informed on the many issues society face on a regular basis, now, and in the future.

You could help us counter the ever-increasing costs of speakers, travel and session expenses by gifting or leaving a bequest of funds to SACPA, which for example could help establish a special SACPA speaker series bearing your name.

SACPA has always been a not-for-profit organization, but unfortunately does not qualify as a registered Canadian charity. Thus, tax receipts for donations directly to SACPA are not possible, but the benefits to our democracy could nevertheless be priceless.

However, tax receipted donations to registered charities such as The University of Lethbridge or The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and SW Albertafor example, can be made as an endowment bearing your name in support of “SACPA on Campus” or other SACPA related events.

Please contact Knud Petersen or one of SACPA’s board members if you would like to know more and discuss possible ways that you can make a difference.

THANK YOU for your support of SACPA
