SACPA is one of Canada's unique institutions. Rooted in a sense of community and citizenship, the Council seeks to involve the residents of Southern Alberta in debating issues of concern; be they local, provincial, national or international.

SACPA provides an opportunity for the public to broaden their understanding of the issues presented by participating in the debates.

SACPA meets every Thursday at noon from September to June. The Council also holds special sessions, usually in the evening and often at the Lethbridge Public Library. Everyone is welcome.  The noon hour sessions are dropin (no registration required) and cost $10 (which includes a lovely lunch and coffee or tea).  If you have questions, please email lisa@sacpa.ca or call her at 403-330-9530.
